A RASH OF GRAFFITI AND VEHICLE DAMAGE HITS GRAFTON

A spike in theft and graffiti related crimes in the Grafton area has police asking the public to report any suspicious activity.

Between Wednesday and Saturday last week, police received over 30 reports of damage to motor vehicles, with some vehicles also being broken into and stolen from.

A number of public places have been damaged by graffiti in the same period, while a sports club has been broken into.

A 13-year-old boy has been charged with a number of related offences.

Police say more arrests are expected.
