STOLEN CREDIT CARDS AND DRUGS SEIZED IN CHARLESTOWN

Three people have been arrested and drugs and stolen property have allegedly been seized during a raid on a Charlestown property.

Police executed a search warrant at an Ida Street home, just before midday yesterday.

They allegedly located stolen credit cards and identification documents, methamphetamine, and other drugs during the search.

A 25-year-old man has been charged with larceny and four counts of goods in custody.

A 23-year-old man was issued a Court Attendance Notice for breach of bail.

A 16-year-old boy will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act in relation to receiving and fraud offences.

It’s part of an ongoing investigation into thefts from cars and the fraudulent use of stolen credits cards in the Lake Macquarie area.
