BANDIDO OMCG TARGETED BY TASKFORCE MAXIMA

Police have allegedly uncovered cocaine, steroids and other restricted drugs during a search on the Gold Coast yesterday.

Detectives from Taskforce Maxima executed a search warrant on an Ormeau address yesterday.

The search also allegedly located a number of Bandido OMCG caps.

A 27-year-old Ormeau man, believed to be a probationary member of the Bandido OMCG Gold Coast chapter, was arrested for three counts of the possession of dangerous drugs, one count of possession of a restricted drug, one count of possess utensil and two counts of display prohibited item in a public place.

The man had been observed to be wearing Bandido caps on two occasions in January and February. The caps are prohibited in public.

He will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court today.
