TOP TEN AT KIWI OPEN LITTERED WITH HUNTER AND CENTRAL COAST GOLFERS

In golf and Michael Hendry has won the New Zealand Open, after the Kiwi won a three way playoff this afternoon.

The Hunter’s Andrew Dodt and James Nitties tied with Dimi Papadatos from the Central Coast in sixth.

Nitties started the day in striking distance of the tournament leader, but a few early bogeys cruelled his chances.

It was a similar story for Papadatos, two bogeys on the front nine and a double on 15 saw him finish with a final round 72.

Dodt was more effective.

His score of 68 could’ve been even better, if it wasn’t for a few near misses.
