  1. Thrilled about enclosed dog park – Please seperate small dogs from big dogs – just fence off a corner section for small dogs.My extensive experience with dog parks in Hills district can’t stress enough the need to fence off seperate areas. Big dogs quickly form a pack mentality and head straight for the little dogs. A good example of seperate areas is in Crestwood Reserve Baulkham Hills. At lease you are not going to make the mistake they did putting it so close to residents – much opposition setting it up, but all credit to the council they went ahead with it. The dog park at Rouse Hill looks good but not practical- fence too low and all size dogs together. My dog was taught invaluable social skills from 3 months old by spending time at Crestwood reserve. All you need is some seats around – access to water and trees. We love it up here coming from Kellyville – the only thing I miss is an enclosed dog park. Hope it goes ahead, but please don’t put all size dogs together. Feel free to contact me if you need more info about this.I am at Marks Point.
