The Knights have extended the contract of young forward Mitch Barnett, keeping him at the club until at least the end of the 2020 season.
The 22-year-old from Wingham was one of Newcastle’s best against the Warriors.
“I feel like I’ve started something with this club, we’ve come from rock bottom and I feel like there’s a lot of improvement left. We’ve come a long way see it out and get the club back to the top,” said Mitch Barnett.
