  1. As a neighbor of a blueberry farm, I came to learn that my council certainly does not have our backs. Blueberries planted to within meters of your home, people are gathering their children inside, closing up everytime they hear tractor. Not their problem they say, nothing to do with us, zoned rural, berries surrounded by maybe 10 small properties, homes, school, community hall. Shame on them. I say it has everything to do with them. Some homes scarily close to berries, being spoon fed this poison on a regular basis. UNbelievable, but no true.
I only recently became aware of this just by chance because I don’t live on property, it is rented, and I guess naive. A friend said to me Angela was driving buy your place and thought those berries really close, then I thought omg yes. I went to the house next door and asked them, yes it comes through house, went to my place, yes we take kids and go inside close up. I thought how can this be allowed, called council and to my dismay……..that’s why I started a group… citizens unite Coffs Harbour, we need to do something sooner rather than later, there are people in the immediate line of fire.

  2. Such a shame that no regard is given to our land, animals and people. Shame on the growers, the council and the EPA.
