YOUTH INSEARCH GIVEN A BOOST IN TAMWORTH

The Federal Government has committed an extra $50,000 in funding to Youth InSearch in Tamworth.

The organisation assists troubled young people break the cycle of addiction and homelessness.

The funds will ensure that the service’s early intervention program will run for another six months.

The work of Youth InSearch was highlighted on Australia Day, when Tamworth local Malcolm MacPherson was named Citizen of the Year for his dedication to the service.
