Two men and a woman will face Moree Local Court today, following a pursuit in the North West that lasted several hours.
It’s alleged police observed a gold Toyota Camry with stolen number plates speeding on the Newell Highway at about 12.55pm on Tuesday near Coonabarabran.
A pursuit commenced, but was terminated a short time later due to safety concerns.
About an hour later police tried to intercept the Toyota as it neared Narrabri, but the pursuit was terminated.
About 40 minutes later police attempted to deflate the tyres of the vehicle, after the trio allegedly stole petrol at Bellata, but the attempt failed.
The group was arrested early Wednesday morning and charged with a number of offences including Skye’s Law and theft.
