The campaign to encourage the use of life jackets by boaties and rock fishers
will get underway in Coffs Harbour tomorrow with an old for new trade-in offer.
A mobile van will be at the Jordan Esplanade boat ramp from seven until 11am where new slimline life jackets will be on offer at a discounted price, and old jackets can be traded in.
The New South Wales Government initiative, which is now in its fourth year, is aimed at reducing the number of drowning deaths in fishing and boating communities.
