Newcastle’s running community has rallied around the family of Jennifer Bates, following her tragic death.
Hundreds turned-out for this morning’s Park Run at Carrington, sporting purple armbands – the 36-year-old’s favourite colour.
Mrs Bates died when her scooter was struck at Wickham on Wednesday.
