A walk along Byron Bay’s iconic foreshore, can now exercise both the body and mind.
Council’s launched an educational whale and dolphin trail – a series of informative installations detailing the animals’ annual migration.
“It’s a great opportunity to learn a bit more about these wonderful creatures that we see a lot, but perhaps know a little bit less of and the more we know. The more we treasure them and value them – the more we’re committed to protecting them.”
“Around here, they’ve named some of them. Like one’s called sonic, one’s called scallop and it’s good.”
The trail begins near the main beach surf club and continues along the coast to Clarkes Beach.
