The family of a four-year-old girl killed in a car crash near Casino last December has donated $31,500 to the Westpac Rescue Life Saver Helicopter in Lismore.
Michelle Underhill said without the rescue service, she may have lost both daughters in the crash.
Their youngest daughter, Elaina, was in a critical condition when she was flown to a Brisbane hospital.
Sadly, her sister Elle died at the scene.
To coincide with what would have been Elle’s 5th birthday, the Underhills held a fundraising ball at the Casino RSM Club.
