Fraud is in on the rise in the Tamworth region, jumping by 35 per cent in the last 12 months.
Despite this new figures released by the Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research show overall crime rates are on the decline.
Domestic related assaults in Tamworth are down by 14.9 per cent, while commercial break and enter offences have dropped by more than 41 per cent.
