SUPERHEROES TEACH SWIM SAFETY

Superheroes in speedos have taught some of the Far North Coast’s smallest swimmers, a potentially life-saving lesson.

The youngsters were shown what to do in an emergency, during a colourful water safety class this morning.

“A lot of kids have pools, beaches lakes, even bathtubs and their getting cool for the summer, so we definitely need to promote it.”

The class was held at the Goonellabah Sports and Aquatic Centre, as part of ‘National Swim Safer’ week.
