The state government is continuing to improve other freight links around the region, announcing $700,000 to upgrade three of the district’s busiest roads.
Gosport and Tapscott Streets in Moree, and Rosedale Road in Ashley, will be widened and resealed to allow drivers direct access to the Newell Highway.
The upgraded roads will also allow B-triple freight trucks to travel along the routes, previously restricted due to weight and size.
