Police in Casino were faced with a slippery situation this morning, when an eastern brown snake was spotted slithering along Barker street.
Officers quickly cornered the deadly animal, before calling in a reptile wrangler.
He safely captured it, before it was checked over by a local vet and relocated.
Eastern Brown’s are the world’s second most venomous species of snake.
