A man has been stabbed after answering his door at a Gold Coast unit complex.
The 47-year-old was attacked in Worendo Street at Southport at around 5.30pm yesterday.
A man armed with a knife stabbed him several times in the torso and arm, before fleeing on foot.
The victim was transported to hospital in a serious condition suffering multiple stab wounds.
The perpetrator is described as being caucasian, approximately 180-centimetres tall, with short black hair and facial tattoos.
He was dressed in black and was last seen running along Worendo Street.
It’s believed the men are known to each other.
