Nine additional charges of child sexual abuse have been laid against former Armidale Catholic priest John Joseph Farrell.
The fresh charges relate to the alleged assaults of two boys – one in Gunnedah in 1975, the other in Narrabri in 1983.
The 62-year-old is facing more than 60 charges of child sexual absue.
The former priest will front Sydney’s District Court in early-2017.
