CORLETTE MAN CHARGED WITH GRAFFITI OFFENCES

A Port Stephens man will face court later this month, charged over 29 graffiti offences.

Operation Eraser was established to investigate reports of shopping centres, council signage and a number of other buildings in Nelson Bay being vandalised.

Yesterday they arrested a 22-year-old, who was later charged with 29 counts of aggravated mark property without consent.

Police also seized his mobile phone after allegedly finding photos of graffiti on it.

He’s been granted conditional bail and is due to appear before Raymond Terrace Local Court on Spetember 26.
