A 17-year-old girl has been charged after allegedly stealing a car, and leading a police on a high-speed chase in Lismore.
Police attempted to stop the vehicle at around four-o’clock yesterday afternoon but say the driver refused to pull over, and went on to drive at dangerous speeds around the CBD.
The vehicle was abandoned in Molesworth Street, where police later caught up with the teenager.
She’s been charged with a string of offences, including dangerous driving and driving without a licence.
