Charges have been laid over an assault that left a man with a fractured skull on the Central Coast.
Around 2:30am last Sunday, a 43-year-old man was walking along Donnison Street in Gosford after leaving a nightclub, when he was allegedly assaulted by another man.
The 43-year-old male suffered a fractured skull and was airlifted to Royal North Shore hospital in a serious condition.
Investigations led police to an address in West Gosford this morning, where they arrested a 39-year-old man.
The man was charged with reckless assault, causing grievous bodily harm, and will appear in court on Tuesday 13 September.
