A big result for Lake Macquarie wakeboarder Tony Iacconi overnight, with the 19-year-old winning his second-straight world series event, the Seoul Pro.

Iacconi produced a final run that’s been described as one of the best by anyone this season.

“I woke up this morning not feeling like myself but I come out here, I kept positive and I put it down. All the boys killed it, and it was real close between us three actually. We were within a point of each other.”

The result sees Iacconi climb to second in the overall standings.

The next stop on the series is also the sport’s world championships – it all starts in Canada on Thursday.
