The RSPCA believes two kangaroos, found tied together near Kurri Kurri, were already dead when they were bound.
Chief Inspector David O’Shannessy says upon investigating, it DOESN’T appear the animals were subjected to cruelty before their deaths.
It’s thought the roos may have been road kill.
Images of the carcasses sparked outrage on social media, following their discovery on Wednesday.
