A pensioner looking to get ahead says he’s been let down by society.
David Bailey was in the early stages of setting up his own aerial photography business, having just bought a $2,500, DJI Phantom 4 – similar to the one pictured.
“My brand new drone had flown 15 minutes and it got stolen from my car last night,” he said.
Mr Bailey, who’s been staying at the Sundowner Caravan Park in Port Macquarie, says the expensive piece of equipment was stolen from the backseat of his dual cab.
A few similar incidents have been reported in the area recently- he’s hoping someone will come forward with information.
