A 36-year-old woman is due to front Toronto Local Court, after a man was stabbed during an alleged domestic violence incident at Lake Macquarie.
The man and woman were arguing in their Warners Bay home last night, when the woman allegedly armed herself with a knife at about 9.30.
It’s then alleged the man grabbed the knife and cut his hand, before he was stabbed in the arm and back with another knife.
The woman sustained a head wound after being pushed into the fridge during the incident.
Children were also home at the time but were not injured.
The man was later taken to John Hunter Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The accused was charged with reckless wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
