CAMPERVAN CAMPAIGNERS BACK QLD LAWS

Campaigners who want offensive camper-vans banned in New South Wales, are calling on Premier Mike Baird to follow Queensland’s lead.

Late last week Queensland’s attorney-general Yvette D’ath announced legislation will be introduced, allowing the government to de-register vehicles deemed offensive by the advertising standards bureau.

“She’s come good with some legislation, that looks like it’s going to work. And basically now, what we’ve got to do is get our attorney general and the New South Wales Government behind us to do the same thing.”

“Some are quite funny, some are witty there ok. But some, they’re just, ugh, absolutely vile.”

Protestors are planning several rallies and hope state government members will join the campaign.
