MAN CHARGED AFTER TWO GOLD COAST PIZZA DELIVERY DRIVERS HELD UP AT KNIFE POINT

A man has been charged, after two pizza delivery drivers were held up at knife point in separate incidents on the Gold Coast earlier this year.

On April 16, a delivery driver was robbed at knife point outside a Kambalda Street residence at Worongary.

Then on May 6, another delivery driver was held up in similar circumstances on the Gold Coast Highway at Miami.

Neither driver was injured at the time.

Following police investigations, a 22-year-old man has been charged with two counts of armed robbery.

He is due to appear in court later this month.
