OLYMPIC PREPARATIONS ON TRACK FOR FEARNLEY AND DAWES

Newcastle athletes Christie Dawes and Kurt Fearnley have sent an ominous warning to their Rio Paralympic rivals, by dominating their respective divisions at today’s Gold Coast Marathon.

Dawes smashed Louise Sauvage’s race record from 1998, while Fearnley also set a new mark, beating his nearest rival by 12 minutes.
