Ettalong Memorial lawn bowler Aron Sherriff has been named in the Australian squad to contest the World Championships later this year.
The 30 year old was awarded the honour following his Australian Open men’s singles victory last week.
Sherriff is no stranger to the green and gold having represented Australia at the Commonwealth games and two World Championships.
The event will take place in New Zealand in November.
