Police believe a body, which was found in Newcastle Harbour at Stockton today, is that of missing man Jackson Baker.
The 20-year-old was last seen leaving a nightclub in the early hours of June 16.
Police were investigating several lines of inquiry, including whether he may have gone swimming in the harbour.
At around 11:45 this morning, a member of the public made the discovery near Fullerton Street.
Jackson’s family has been notified.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
