SWIFTS LOSE BY A POINT IN FRONT OF SELL OUT NEWCASTLE CROWD

The Hunter has once again proved to be a great supporter base for the New South Wales Swifts, with a sell out crowd packing the Newcastle Entertainment Centre for yesterday’s clash with the West Coast Fever.

While Swifts officials were disappointed with the one point loss, they were impressed with the passion of local fans.

With the ANZ Championships set to become an all Australian competition next year, which is likely to include a second New South Wales team, there’s potential for more games to take place in our region.
