STOCKTON SAND BOARDER SUFFERS HEAD INJURIES, AIRLIFTED TO HOSPITAL

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter has flown a man to John Hunter this afternoon, after the 25-year-old fell while sand boarding near Lavis Lane on the Stockton sand dunes.

The man was part of an escorted quad bike event and took a tumble.

The sand dunes are believed to have become hard during the rain.

It’s understood the man suffering a head injury & broken collarbone, but is in a stable condition.
