CRASH CLAIMS SECOND LIFE

A horrific car accident near Tamworth yesterday afternoon has today claimed a second life.

At around 3.30 two sedans collided head on near Duri on the Werris Creek Road.

A 76-year-old man driving one of the cars suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.

The second driver, a 32-year-old man, passed away in John Hunter hospital this morning.

Police are asking for a man who claimed to have witnessed the crash, but then left the scene, to come forward.
