Fire has gutted a home at Woolgoolga on the mid north coast.
High Street residents raised the alarm just before 2.30pm, but emergency crews were unable to save the property from the fierce flames.
“Pretty huge extending out of the house and heading upwards of 3 or 4 metres in the air, the whole front verandah went up, that was what I first saw, a lot of explosions a fair few bangs.” Said Witness Corey Barkman.
Police are now attempting to contact the home’s residents.
It’s not known what caused the blaze.
