A man is refusing to cooperate with police, after being shot in the legs at Port Stephens last night.
The 31-year-old was found with gunshot wounds to both thighs, at a home at Corlette, near Nelson Bay.
He was rushed to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital suffering suspected broken femurs.
A police investigation is underway – detectives say anyone with information should come forward.
