Work to fix one of the worst affected mid north coast sites from the 2011 June floods, will finally get underway this week.
For almost 12 months, access to the Bootawa Dam has been almost impossible, after a culvert on the main road was completely destroyed.
It will be replaced by a 14-metre concrete bridge, which will cost around $400,000.
The State Government is chipping in the majority of the funds – work should be completed by July.
