TAREE IN LINE TO HOST PRESTIGIOUS POWERBOAT COMP

The Manning could play host to the prestigious Australiasian Powerboat Championship in 2017.

Victorian racer Grant Harrison has announced plans to bring the competition to Taree, but only IF he is successful in claiming the title in April.

Harrison says the Manning River is an ideal location for the prestigious event.

The Australian Council would still need to approve the race should the Victorian come good on his promise.
