FALLEN TREE NARROWLY MISSES GOONELLABAH HOME

SES crews across the far north coast have spent Easter Sunday cleaning up, after a night of wild weather.

Chainsaws in hand, they quickly set about removing this 20-metre high tallowwood tree.

Unable to withstand the storm, it came crashing down in the frontyard of a Goonellabah home, narrowly missing parked cars and a boat.

All up, the SES received almost 30 calls for help.
