A 28-year-old Sapphire man has been charged with a string of offences, following a domestic dispute last Thursday.
Police allege the man picked up a chainsaw and turned it on, before threatening his female partner and cutting a number of items in the home.
It’s alleged the man then confronted the woman with a cane knife.
He was granted conditional bail to reappear at court on June 30.
