MILLY CLARK HAS EASY WIN AT PORT RUNNING FESTIVAL

Sydney University student Milly Clark blitzed the field at today’s Port Macquarie Running Festival.

The 26-year-old who recently qualified for the Rio Olympics, left the pack in her wake to win the 10-kilometre event in 32 minutes and 50 secs.

“I’m always a bit scared of 10 k’s for at least in the Marathon you can run a bit slower. It was good to come out and get a good time. I absolutely love the cheers from the crowd,” Clark said after her race win.

Forster runner Jake Myors finished second.

Disabled athlete Steve Lyons was an inspiration, completing the distance on a skateboard.
