Inverell Shire Council is set to upgrade its waste management and recycling facilities thanks to a state government grant of more than half a million dollars.
Member for Northern Tablelands, Adam Marshall, says the funs will be used at Oakwood, Wallangra and Yetman.
Uralla Shire Council also secured a grant of more than $83,000, which will go towards upgrading its landfill site and illegal dumping program.
