A fire that destroyed a boat on Lake Macquarie overnight is being treated as suspicious.
Emergency services were called to York Street at Teralba at about 2am, following reports of an explosion.
On arrival they found a Mariner 780 cruiser adrift from its mooring and well alight.
Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze, anyone with information is urged to come forward.
