BREAK AND ENTER CHARGES FOLLOW A VEHICLE STOP IN NELSON BAY

A 45-year-old Shoal Bay man will face court after a break-in at Nelson Bay early on Friday.

Around 3.45am on Friday, police stopped a car travelling along Shoal Bay Road.

Following a search of the vehicle, police seized a number of items alleged to be the proceeds of a break-and-enter from a Nelson Bay business earlier that day.

The driver was charged with break enter, stealing, and possessing housebreaking implements.

He will appear in Raymond Terrace Local Court on 21 March 2016.
