RYAN EARNS WARATAHS STARTING BERTH

Tamworth’s Paddy Ryan has been named to start in the New South Wales Waratahs opening Super Rugby match this weekend against Queensland.

He’ll be in unfamiliar territory though, shifting to the loosehead side of the scrum.

After being stuck behind two Wallabeis regulars since his 20-11 debut, the 26-year-old is hoping this season is his chance to shine, and add to his three appearances in the green and gold.
