The Umina Bunnies, one of Central Coast Rugby League’s foundation clubs has been left shattered after the division’s General Committee last night voted to exclude the club from the 2016 season.
The club was placed into recession early this year after failing to meet, what it describes, as an unrealistic deadline to prove it’s viability.
Last night’s decision means the Bunnies won’t be taking to the field and has thrown doubt over the club’s future.
The club is now assessing its options, and will be holding a community rally in Umina on Monday night.
