The ‘Across the Lake Swim’ at Lake Macquarie has been cancelled for a second year due to a number of shark sightings.
The swim from Coal Point to Belmont 16-Footers each year in March, is a major fundraiser for the Swansea-Belmont Surf Life Saving club.
The club will instead host an ocean swim on April 30, with a one and two kilometre race.
