BAKER AND ADAM KNOCKED OUT OF TWEED COAST PRO

A tough day for Merewether boardriders at the QS 1000 Tweed Coast Pro at Cabarita.
Jesse Adam finished last in heat 10 of round three.
While a host of his rivals scored sevens and eights, Jesse only managed a two-wave score of 7.25, which saw him bow out of the contest.
It was a similar story for fellow Hunter rider Jackson Baker.
The 19-year-old’s heat score of 9.3 was only enough to get him into third spot, as he also made an early exit from the event.
