HARRADINE OUT OF HUNTER TRACK CLASSIC

Disappointing news for Hunter Track Classic organisers, with local discus thrower Benn Harradine pulling out of Saturday night’s meet at Glendale.
The Commonwealth Games gold medallist had minor surgery on his shoulder in December and was hoping to recover in time for the classic.
In positive news, the women’s bronze medal winner from Glasgow, Britain’s Jade Lally, has confirmed she’ll take part in the event for the first time.
And Australia’s two fastest sprinters, Jack Hale and Joshua Clarke, have signed up to be headline acts in the men’s 100-metre race.
