Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of a crash, that left one person dead and another seriously injured west of Casino yesterday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the accident on the Bruxner Highway near Mummulgum around 4.30pm, where a Ford Fiesta had collided with an oncoming Toyota Aurion.
The driver of the Ford, a 46-year-old Bonalbo man, died at the scene.
The Toyota’s driver, a 73-year-old man also from Bonalbo, was taken to Lismore Base Hospital with serious injuries.
